I spent a good amount of time on Linked In, joining groups that I thought may provide good market research for the use of our Thermal Imager. Here is one of the more detailed replies. Checking for ice blocks in piping installed in freezers
Checking for frozen piping in attics
Checking for low flow on case relief valves
Checking over heating on the fire pump case
Checking for over heating on radial and thrust bearings on a fire pump
Checking for radial and thrust bearings on jockey pump
Looking for air leak on dry system piping
Looking for air leaks on dry pilot Pre-action / Deluge systems
Locating leaking on underground piping generally done in cold weather at night where you can see fog on ground above leaking underground pipe
Locating high pressure steam leaks they can be invisible on a hot day or when covered by insulation.
I would like to be kept up to date on your progress it sounds like a great idea. An idea with great potential.
