When I renovated my house I made it all electric. Electric forced air heat, electric on-demand water heater, electric radiant floor heat in the bathrooms, electric kitchen with magnetic induction stovetop, etc. I had 800 amps pulled to my house. The guys from ComEd just shook their heads as they brought the line to the house. The line on the left feeds my house. The line on the right feeds my neighbors gas heated house. And yes, I'm the dumb*** who went all electric just before natural gas prices went into the toilet.
