Hello Everyone. I've received quite a few questions that are actually addressed in detail in the body of the campaign so I thought I'd create a FAQ and post it here. 1. Is it available for Android devices as well as iOS? Yes, we expect it will be available in both iOS and Android versions when it first hits the market. 2. Will it record the still and videos to the smartphone or tablet? Yes, it will record the native resolution of the IR imager, which is 160x120 as either a still or video, your choice. We're working to ensure the temperature highlights transfer along as well. You'll be able to label the images after you record them. You'll can transfer them to other computers, text and email them too. We're considering GEO tagging the images as well. 3. What happens if you don't reach your financial goal, will you still be able to make the Imager and will I get mine for the price I already paid? Yes, we're being funded through other sources. IndieGoGo is the least of our funding sources, and we get the IndieGoGo funding that's been raised even if we don't reach our goal. This has been as much a market research effort as it has been a fund-raising effort. We've learned a lot about how people would use it and where markets exist that we had not previously thought of. 4. Why don't you show images of the work-in-progress hardware? We are under NDA's with the suppliers of the FPAs and the lens manufacturers. That defines, along with the software, a great deal of the product. We're even under NDA's with some of the people who have purchased a Perk. Also, this is not a kit, it's not meant to be a toy; it is, for us, a product that has tremendous potential for both the end user and ourselves as a company. I'm not showing potential competitors how we're doing what we're doing. My investors would not think that prudent of me. 5. How are you shipping and what will be the cost? At this point we're going to include the shipping within the U.S. Overseas shipping will be done as inexpensively through the USPS as possible. We won't let unreasonable shipping costs become an issue for anyone.
